This month, TWRW is proud to host Houston native Emery Washington. Ms. Washington is the Deputy Press Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy. She graduated from Bellaire High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education and a master’s degree in Mass Communication from Texas Tech University.

She began her career as an intern in the office of Congressman Randy Weber (TX-14), later serving as Communications Director for Congressman Barry Moore (AL-1). She plans to share with us her exciting experience working with the Trump Campaign as the Black Media Affairs Coordinator before starting her position with Energy Secretary Chris Wright. She is part of a vibrant new scene of young conservatives that is thriving in D.C.. She has even been mentioned in Vanity Fair!
